St. Mary’s Church/Westin Annapolis
Saturday, June 3, 2021, Monica and Jeff wed in Annapolis at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with a beautiful reception that followed at the Westin Annapolis Hotel. St. Mary’s church is iconic in the Annapolis area and boast a long aisle and amazing alter. I love working with the on-site planner, we tag team as I get the couple ready to enter the church, the on-site helps the couple start down the aisle. After the ceremony and photographs, there was a car waiting to take the couple to The Westin Annapolis where they had enough time to attend the cocktail hour. I am always enamored at how organized the Westin staff is and their commitment to customer service. As the planner, I am confident they will do their part which gives me ample time to concentrate on the couple and guests.

This amazing couple endured 3 date changes due to COVID. Made all the more complicated by the fact that Jeff was going to be deployed at any time. After consistently keeping in touch with the vendors, who were all very flexible, we landed on their forever date of June3, 3 days before Jeff would be going to Afghanistan. However, that brought up a transportation issue as the Independence Day Parade would be going right in front of the Westin at the same time we needed to go to the church. Working with the Westin & City of Annapolis, I was able to map out a route that would take them quickly and safely to the church with no delay. After the ceremony, going back to the Westin was a breeze and the rest of the night, we helped to make their wedding dream come true, and that it did.
