Karen Goldberg Liston

Owner & Wedding Planner

As owner and Certified Wedding Planner, Karen helps her clients get started on their journey of wedding planning. From the initial consultation she puts you at ease so you can enjoy the planning process. She is a wealth of knowledge; sourcing vendors that fit your taste and budget and will create a checklist to keep you on task. She is a great listener, problem solver and an advocate for her couples. Karen’s background is in catering and she loves to go with her clients to tastings (especially cake!) and venue visits. Karen runs a tight team of coordinators that will seamlessly step in and coordinate your wedding day. We have you covered. Other than her passion for wedding planning, Karen loves spending time with her husband, kids and gal-pals! She finds pleasure in kayaking, boating and hiking the Appalachian Trail. And on a cold crisp winter day, she loves reading books by her favorite author, Kristin Hannah, while sipping on a cup of hot chocolate, wrapped in a cozy blanket.

Breanna Pullins

Lead Coordinator

Hi there! I’m Breanna, and I’ve been living my dream as a wedding planner for the past 4 years. My journey started in the catering world, but I quickly realized my true passion was in the planning process itself. There is something magical about bringing all the little details together to create a day that’s unforgettable. I love being a part of a couples special journey and seeing their happiness shine through every moment. My eye for detail and knack for making everything flow smoothly and on time are what I’m known for!

When I am not planning weddings, you’ll likely find me enjoying the outdoors with my family of 5. Whether we’re out on the boat crabbing, hiking in the mountains, collecting fresh veggies from the garden or eggs from the chickens were always up to something! I love to bake and cook (yes, I will try any recipe!), and I can’t resist a good book (send me your recommendations!) Being outside, surrounded by my loved ones, and enjoying good food keeps me inspired and energized to bring my best to every wedding I plan.

Weddings are fabulous, wonderful, emotional and exciting celebrations of your new life together. However, planning a wedding is a ton of work, often between 200 – 250 hours! That’s like taking on an additional job… who has time for that? Wedding planners help bring the dream of your wedding to life, handling much of the legwork, keeping you on track and on budget. We handle every detail and can foresee and prevent common issues, so you can enjoy the experience of your engagement and wedding instead of stressing about it.

A coordinator is an investment in making sure your wedding day is beautiful & flawless while taking that stress & duty off you and your family. Just like you, your friends & family want to enjoy the day and celebrate with you rather than working your event for you.

As soon as you get engaged is recommended. Dates are booked well in advance and the sooner we begin planning, the better!

In the months leading up to your wedding, you’ll be spending a lot of time with wedding planner. You’ll want to get along! So the right planner for you is the person or company you feel most comfortable with. Our initial consultation is complimentary, so you can get a “feel” for us before you jump into anything.

We love all types of weddings, but we have a soft spot for military and multicultural weddings.

We can be as involved as you need or want us to be! All actual decisions are made by you. We’re here to be your coach and advocate, and to make the whole process easier and more efficient for you and your fiancé. So please let us know how involved you want us to be involved in your wedding planning.

Yes, it is crucial that we attend and run the ceremony rehearsal in conjunction with your Officiant, so it is automatically included in every package. Unless your church has specific rules about our team running the rehearsal, then we respect those policies.

Yes, we may work with an assistant on the wedding day depending on the complexity of the event. If there are over 150 guests or if the ceremony and reception are in different locations, we typically bring in additional support. Otherwise, it’s determined on a case-by-case basis to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Yes, we are licensed and insured and belong to The Wedding Pro Academy, Association of Bridal Consultants, National Association for catering and events.

Never! This is our time to get acquainted and to decide if we are a good fit for each other!

We offer a customized flat rate tailored to your needs, which we’ll provide after our free consultation call. This allows us to create a package that reflects the unique details of your wedding following our initial conversation.

Absolutely! Some planners keep their Preferred Vendor list under lock and key unless you book their Full Service level package. But when you work with us, every client automatically receives our Favorite Vendors list upon booking! These are vendors that we know, adore, and have worked with in the past, so we trust in their quality and service.

We love vendor meetings and are happy to attend! (Probably because we love vendors) Even
if meetings are not a part of your package, individual meetings can be added a la carte.
