St. Mary’s Church/Westin Annapolis
On Saturday, June 3, 2021, Monica and Jeff wed at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Annapolis. They had a beautiful reception at the Westin Annapolis Hotel. St. Mary’s is iconic, with a long aisle and stunning altar. I love working with the on-site planner. We tag-team as I help the couple prepare, while the on-site planner assists them down the aisle. After the ceremony and photos, a car took the couple to the Westin Annapolis. They had time to enjoy the cocktail hour. I’m always impressed with the Westin staff’s organization and commitment to customer service. As the planner, I trust them completely, giving me time to focus on the couple and guests.

This amazing couple endured three date changes due to COVID. Jeff’s deployment added further complications, as he could leave at any time. We kept in touch with all vendors, who were flexible throughout. Finally, we set their forever date for June 3, just three days before Jeff’s deployment to Afghanistan. However, transportation became a challenge, as the Independence Day Parade would block access to the Westin. I worked with the Westin and the City of Annapolis to map a quick, safe route to the church. After the ceremony, getting back to the Westin was smooth. We helped make their wedding dream come true, and it did.
